As outlined in Government Order No. 515-JK(GAD) of 2024; Dated: 30-01-2024, the renamed infrastructure and assets include institutions in various districts such as Anantnag, Srinagar, Jammu, Udhampur, Poonch, Kishtwar, and Ramban.

Notable figures like Late Himayun Muzamil Bhat, Late Masroor Ali Wani, Late Rachhpal Singh, Late Krishan Singh, and others have been commemorated with educational institutions and roads bearing their names.

The order emphasizes the need for concerned Administrative Secretaries to promptly take necessary measures, including record amendments, to implement these changes. Additionally, the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir/Jammu, is tasked with overseeing the renaming process in their respective divisions.

Furthermore, the order directs Deputy Commissioners to organize appropriate events in connection with the naming of the infrastructure and assets.
