KISHTWAR — Abdul Qayoom (JKPS) officially took on the role of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Kishtwar on Wednesday, receiving a warm welcome from Senior Police officers at the District Police Headquarters. A guard of honour was presented in his honour during the reception.
In a brief yet impactful function, outgoing SSP Khalil Poswal (JKPS) handed over the baton to the new SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom.
After assuming the charge, Abdul Qayoom conducted an introductory meeting with Police officers of the Police District, highlighting the significance of dedication and enthusiasm in addressing the challenges faced by the people of Kishtwar.
During his address, the new SSP stressed the importance of teamwork and urged every officer to maintain open communication. He emphasized keeping doors open for the general public to easily voice their concerns.
Abdul Qayoom brings a strong commitment to public service and envisions collaborative efforts to enhance the safety and well-being of the Kishtwar community.
