
KISHTWAR — In a significant development, law enforcement officials successfully apprehended an accused individual who had been evading authorities for the past 24 years in Kishtwar district, revealed a senior police official.
The police officer, in communication with a local news agency, disclosed that Jamal Din, identified as the son of Mohammad Ramzan and a resident of Dhalain Sinoo in Gandoh, was apprehended by a dedicated police team.
"The apprehended individual, Jamal Din, is wanted in connection with FIR number 12/1999, categorized under section 364 of the RPC (now IPC)," stated the police official.
Following the apprehension, the accused was promptly presented before a competent court to initiate necessary legal proceedings, as detailed by the officer overseeing the operation.
