SRINAGAR — Two militants affiliated with Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) outfit were killed in an overnight gunfight in Tujan area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
Quoting IGP Kashmir, the Kashmir Zone Police tweeted, "JeM terrorist Majid Nazir, killer of SI Farooq Mir has been neutralised in Pulwama encounter."
The gunfight broke out in the wee hours today after security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
