PULWAMA — Guru Hargobind Singh Prakash Purab was observed on Wednesday in Gurdwara Chati Padshahi Shadimarg in south Kashmir's Pulwama district.
On the occasion, thousands of Sikh devotees flocked the Gurdwara to pay their respects by participating in Shabbat Keertan, Gurbani, and Akhand Paath.
The Chati Padshahi Gurdwara in Shadimarg is historically significant. According to local Sikhs, the Gurdwara is a sign of shared brotherhood since a saint named Katu Shah, worshipped by Muslims, is buried nearby.
