A Naʽat (poetry in praise of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad - PBUH) titled 'Aashiqo Wath Halam Daar' in Kashmiri language being sung by a girl student during a Naat competition at Soch Kral Memorial College of Education Newa in south Kashmir's Pulwama district.
The program was held on May 28 (Saturday) by the college in association with Career Care Secondary School Newa.
Participants from various areas of the district took part in the programme while a galley of learned scholars also graced the occasion.
It is in place to mention here that the student participants were appreciated by the religious scholars for their performances and were also given prizes.
