SRINAGAR — A 22-year-old girl on Wednesday allegedly took her life in Drusoo area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that a girl (name withheld) hailing from Pulwama’s Drusoo area died after hanging herself at home.
The girl, however, was taken to a nearby hospital by her parents where doctors declared her dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and proceedings under Section 174 of CRPC have been initiated.
