Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has constituted a Tourism Advisory Board under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
The Board comprises 23 members and a member Secretary to advise and suggest measures for tourism development, promotion and publicity, creation of high end infrastructure and any other issue related to Tourism in the State.
The members are Mr. Parvez Dewan IAS, Former Union Tourism Secretary, Dr. Lalit K Panwar IAS, Former Union Tourism Secretary, Mr. Umang Narula, IAS, Chairman cum Managing Director ITDC, Ashwani Lohani, Chairman cum Managing Director, Air India, Mohammad Salim Beigh, Member National Monuments Authority of India, Union Ministry of Culture, Mr. Subash Goel, Chairman IOTA, Mr. Sunil Kumar, Chairman TAAI, Dr. Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson Lalit Group of Hotels, Mr. Rafi Ahmed Mir, Hotel Volga, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Burza, Ahad Group of Hotels and Resorts, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Chaya, Grand Mumtaz Group, Mr. Nakul Anand, ITC Group of Hotels, Mr. Rohit Khosla, Taj Group of Hotels, Mr. Arun Nanda, Club Mahindra Group, Mr. Omar Tramboo, Khyber Resort & Spa, Mr. Bharat Choudhary, KC Residency, Jammu, Mr. Chander Gupta, Fortune Rivera, Jammu, Mr. Hardeep Singh Anand, Hotel Asia, Prof Parikshit Singh Manhas, Director School of Tourism Studies and Hospitality Management, Jammu University, Mr. K. B Kachroo, Radisson Group of Hotels, Mr. Mohammad Ibrahim Siyah, President, Travel Agents Society of India, Kashmir, Mr. Rajesh Gupta, Chairman Tourism Federation of Jammu and Mr. Rakesh Mathur, Honorary Secretary, Eco Tourism Society of India.
Mr. Farooq A Shah, IAS, Secretary Tourism J&K shall be the Member Secretary of the Tourism Advisory Board.
