Srinagar: Two boys killed in Army firing late Monday evening were laid to rest with tearful eyes at their ancestral graveyard in Nowgam area of central Kashmir this morning, police said.
Faisal Ahmad Bhat and Mehraj-u-din Dar succumbed to their injuries on way to a hospital while two other youths are battling for their life after soldiers of 53 Rashtriya Rifles fired at their car in Chattergam in Budgam district. A probe has already been ordered.
Muhammad Irshad, Senior Superintendent of Police, Budgam, said that the boys have been buried, but the situation remains tense in the area.
Curfew-like restrictions have been imposed in the area to prevent people from taking to streets against the killings of civilians.
