Srinagar, July 12: Lecturers teaching in various colleges of Kashmir have not been paid their monthly salaries for the past more than three months putting them and their families to intense hardships.
A delegation of college contractual lecturers on Friday said “While assistant professors, professors and college principals are being paid the salaries on first week of every month, the contractual lecturers have been denied the same prompting accusations against the higher education department of being lethargic and discriminatory.”
