Pulwama, February 24: The interview notification published by NRHM District Rural Health Society Pulwama in a local daily has raised a lot of eyebrows. The candidates who had applied for the posts of Staff Nurses in response to the advertisement no. NRHM/DRHS/Hir/548-53 allege that the list of candidates shortlisted in the notification neither have the academic merit nor do they possess the merit in requisite professional degree (FMPHW).
Pertinently, the interview notification published on 21 February, 2014 called for shortlisted candidates to appear for interview on 22 February, 2014 at Conference Hall of DC office Complex Pulwama. The agitated candidates said that this immediate interview call in the curfewed district has further confirmed their doubts.
We approached District Development Commissioner Pulwama who happens to be the chairman of District Rural Health Society Pulwama but to no avail, says Rameeza of Koil Pulwama
The candidates have been left fuming over the episode. They demand that the concerned department should make the aggregate points secured in academic merit in Matric and Diploma public. They also demand that the weightage given to Matric and Diploma respectively should also be made known.
Meanwhile, the candidates threatened to carry out a protest demonstration to demand an answer from the authorities and to force them to accept their geniune demands.
