New Delhi, Feb 18: Huawei has launched a new entry level smartphone, called Ascend Y210D, in India. The phone, which is priced at Rs 4,999, features a 3.5 inch H VGA (480×320 pixels) resolution bearing display, 1 GHz Qualcomm processor and two SIM (3G+2G) slots.
The Android 2.3 based Ascend Y210D also has a 1700 mAh battery which is made of Huawei's Power Saving Technology that claims to give up to 30 per cent more battery life. The phone will be available in two colours - ceramic white and phantom black.
Huawei Ascend Y210D is claimed to boot up in five seconds, and also features a 2 megapixel camera with CMOS sensor.
Anand Narang, marketing director Huawei Device India said, "To enable internet access for millions of Indian youth, we wanted to offer a compelling mid-range smartphone proposition at an entry level price. Huawei Ascend Y210D offers a bigger 3.5 inch screen, faster 1 GHz processor, dual SIM for managing voice and internet connections and best-in-class battery life."
The Huawei Ascend Y210D is available online from retailers like Flipkart, HS18, Infibeam, Snapdeal, large format retails like Croma, Ezone, Reliance Digital, Univercell and Huawei experience outlets and multi-brand outlets.
