Pune, Nov 20: A popular TV serial actress was arrested by Pune Police here in the night, in a high-profile sex racket at a five-star hotel.
A spot boy, Neeraj Naithani, working as middleman in the sex racket, was also arrested, police said.
The actress, hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, has acted in several popular TV serials and some mainstream films in Bollywood.
Azhara Jan (21) alias Zara, has worked in television serial "Kasauti Zindagi Ki" and had played a small role in a Hindi film titled "Lamha". Bhadani worked as a spot boy on the sets of TV serials.
Pune police had got inside information that the actress used to travel from Mumbai to Pune every weekend for this sex racket. It deployed a decoy customer to catch the actress in the act.
The actress, police said, used to charge Rs 1.5 lakh for one hour.
Police is investigating other angles relating to involvement of other persons from Bollywood in this sex racket.
