Muzaffarabad, Islamabad: Political leadership of Pakistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Indian Occupied Kashmir severely reacted on the arrest of Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai by US and said that to arrest Dr. Fai is the conspiracy of Indo-US against the independence movement of Kashmir.
Chairman Parliamentary Kashmir Committee Maulana Fazalur Rehman reacted severely and showed great annoyance against the arrest of Dr. Fai by FBI.
He said that such act of arresting a Kashmiri leader is of great injustice, adding that Dr. Fai has rendered great services for Kashmir cause, adding that he would gather information of Dr Fai’s arrest as chairman Kashmir committee.
President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Zulqarnain Khan showing his reaction on the arrest of Dr. Fai said that it is a great conspiracy against the struggle of Kashmiri people for independence and condemned the arrest of Dr. Fai.
He said that Dr. Fai is working peacefully for the independence of Kashmir through dialogues and playing an effective role for the independence of Kashmir.
He said that Dr. Fai was arrested on the Indian pressure, which is a great act of partiality by US; meanwhile he demanded immediate release of Dr. Fai.
Senior politician of PML (N) Senator Raja Zafar-Ul- Haq while talking to “SANA” showed serious concerns over the arrest of Dr. Fai.
He said that Dr. Fai is one of the leaders who want a peaceful solution of Kashmir dispute, adding that Dr. Fai served whole life to raise the Kashmir issue on the basis of dialogues, argument and human rights.
He said that Dr. Fai is not an agent. If any lobby has spread a wrong information against him, it would be sorted out soon, adding that Dr. Fai is remembered with respect among the Kashmiri people.
Former Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmad said that there is no reason for the arrest of a Kashmir leader, adding that Dr. Fai is a respected Kashmiri leader.
He said that United Nation had acknowledged the right of self determination of Kashmiri people and Dr. Fai is struggling this right of self determination of Kashmiris on international level.
Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaquat Baloch severely reacted on Dr. Fai’s arrest and said that US bypassed international laws, adding that the arrest of Dr. Fai proved that US had not care of any international law; meanwhile he demanded the immediate release of Dr Fai.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir Abdul Rashid Turabi showed serious concerns over Dr. Fai’s arrest and said that to arrest Dr Fai, who is working peacefully for Kashmir cause, on Indian pressure, the US communicated a negative message to Kashmiri people.
Leader of Hurriyat Conference of Azad Kashmir Ghulam Muhammad Safi said that the arrest of Dr. Fai is great injustice, adding that the leaders and people of both parts of Kashmir showed great concern over the arrest of Dr. Fai, meanwhile he demanded the immediate release of Dr Fai.
