SRINAGAR — A 40-year-old woman was electrocuted to death in Charar-e-Shareef area of central Kashmir's Budgam district on Thursday.
An official quoted by the local news agency Kashmir Scroll said that a woman, namely Shakeela Banoo wife of Abdul Rashid Baba and a resident of Hafroo Batpora, received an electric shock at her residence.
He said that her family members took her in a semiconscious state to PHC Hafroo Batpora where doctors declared her dead.
Meanwhile, the local police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation in this regard.
