SRINAGAR — Authorities on Sunday said that all flights scheduled for today have been cancelled at Srinagar International Airport due to ongoing weather conditions.

"All the flights have been cancelled for the day due to bad weather at Srinagar," the Director of Srinagar International Airport informed.

Pertinently, most parts of Kashmir including Srinagar witnessed major snowfall of the season even as weathermen forecast more.

An official of the Meteorological Department said that the plains received 3-6 inches of snowfall while 8-12 inches were recorded in the middle and higher reaches of Kashmir Division.
