SRINAGAR — Authorities in northern Kashmir's Bandipora district have apprehended three individuals suspected of involvement in a recent homicide, according to a senior police officer.

The arrests come in connection with the killing of a 38-year-old man, identified as Ghulam Mohiuddin Parray, who sustained critical injuries during a confrontation and succumbed to his wounds at SKIMS Soura after a night of hospitalization.

The suspects have been identified as Shabir Ahmad Parray, Iqbal Ahmad Parray, and Firdous Ahmad Parray. A case has been registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, and investigations into the incident are ongoing, the police officer stated.

This incident marks the third violent confrontation reported in Kashmir since last month. Previously, a youth was fatally injured by his brother in Sopore, another individual lost his life in Ganderbal, and a brother was left critically injured following a family altercation in Pattan.
