
SRINAGAR — Baramulla Police has taken stringent action against alleged 'anti-national elements', booking Fayaz Ahmad Kumar and Safeer Ahmad Bhat under the Public Safety Act (PSA). The formal detention orders were obtained from the competent authority, a statement issued in this connection said.
The detained individuals, known for their involvement in several cases related to disturbances in law and order, have been identified as Fayaz Ahmad Kumar, also known as Narshima, son of Ghulam Qadir, a resident of Khanpora Baramulla, and Safeer Ahmad Bhat, also known as Safeer Molvi, son of Ab Majeed Bhat, a resident of Janbazpora Baramulla.
Both individuals have been transferred to Central Jail Kot Balwal Jail Jammu.
Despite their previous involvement in multiple FIRs, the statement emphasizes that they continued engaging in alleged anti-national and anti-social activities, leading to their detention under the Public Safety Act.
