SRINAGAR — The visibility improved on Saturday after four days of dense fog while mercury continues to settle below freezing point across the Kashmir Valley.

According to the news agency KNO, a feeble Western Disturbance is affecting J&K today due to which the visibility has improved.

Meanwhile, Pahalgam in south Kashmir recorded minimum temperature of minus 4.1 degree Celsius.

Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir, shivered at minus 2.8 degree Celsius while Qazigund in south Kashmir has recorded a minimum temperature minus 2.0 degree Celsius. Gulmarg, a famous ski-resort, has recorded a low of minus 2.5 degree Celsius.

Kupwara in north Kashmir has recorded a low of minus 2.3 degree Celsius while Kokernag recorded the minimum temperature at minus 1.3 degree Celsius.
