SRINAGAR — Lieutenant Colonel Karanbir Singh Natt, Sena Medal recipient, injured in a 2015 Kupwara gunfight with militants, passed away at Military Hospital Jalandhar on Saturday.
Sources confirmed the demise of Lt Col Natt, who had been in a coma for eight years since sustaining grave injuries during the encounter. He remained in a continuous state of coma until today's unfortunate passing.
