SRINAGAR — A mosque was partially damaged in an overnight blaze in Sarafkadal area in Srinagar, officials said on Tuesday morning.
Officials said that a fire broke out in a four-storey mosque at around 1:30 AM, adding that soon afterwards, the F&ES Department reached the site with men and machinery and put out the flames.
The mosque, the officials said, received partial damage in the incident.
