SRINAGAR — A man was injured on Wednesday in a low-intensity explosion in Jammu district.
SSP Chandan Kohli said that a man from Chatha area of Jammu received injuries after a low-intensity explosion took place in the house of his brother.
Initial investigation reveals that the explosive material of low intensity was kept in the house for the purpose of an illegal act of animal trapping and hunting, the officer said.
The injured is under treatment and a case under relevant sections of law has been registered to investigate the incident, the officer added.
