SRINAGAR — A 5-year-old boy drowned to death in Lidder Nallah near Rajwas bridge in south Kashmir's Anantnag district on Sunday morning.
An official said that 5-year-old Mohammad Sofiyan son of Tanzeem Alam slipped into Lidder Nallah near Rajwas bridge this morning.
He said soon after the incident, a police team along with locals launched a rescue operation.
He added that his dead body was retrieved and after legal-medico formalities, the body was handed over to his family.
