UDHAMPUR — The collision between a truck and a CRPF vehicle on Wednesday left five paramilitary personnel including four officers injured on the Jammu-Udhampur highway.





Official sources told the news agency KNT that there was a head-on collision between a speeding private truck (PB06B-7355) and a CRPF vehicle (JK02BN-6560) near Mand Takri area of Udhampur district of Jammu region in which four CRPF Sub-Inspectors and a trooper sustained injuries.





The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Official sources identified the four injured as Assistant Sub Inspectors including Brij Lal, Raj Kumar, Ramesh Kumar and Govind Raj and Selection Grade Constable Ashok Kumar.





Both the vehicles suffered damages, however, the truck driver was unhurt. Police seized the truck and arrested the driver for alleged rash driving.
