SRINAGAR — Amid widespread outrage in Kashmir over the stranding of apple trucks, the Jammu & Kashmir Government has attached Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic, National Highway, Shabir Ahmad Malik.
In an order, a copy of which is in possession of the news agency KNO, the government has ordered the attachment of Shabir Ahmad Malik.
“In the interest of the administration, Shabir Ahmad Malik, SSP Traffic, NHW, is hereby transferred and attached with police headquarters, J&K, with immediate effect. Ms. Mohita Sharma, SSP Ramban, shall hold the additional charge of the said post, till further orders,” reads the order.
