SRINAGAR — Two more militants have been killed in the ongoing encounter, taking the toll to four in Badigam area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday.
Official sources told GNS that two more militants have been killed in addition to two militants killed earlier, however, the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier reports reaching GNS said that a joint team of police and Army launched a cordon and search operation in Badigam.
As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
