SRINAGAR — The Female Multi-Purpose Health Workers (FMPHWs) Tuesday staged a protest in front of Civil Secretariat Srinagar, demanding early release of their pending salaries.
A large number of FMPHWs assembled in front of the Secretariat and raised slogans in support of their demands, which included the release of their pending salaries.
The protesting FMPHWs said that they are without salaries for the last four months due to which they are on the verge of starvation.
They warned the district administration to resolve their issue within a week otherwise they will be left with no option other than going on a hunger strike.
