NOTICE

Subject: TIFR Nationwide Entrance (GS - 2016)

This concerns the ensuing TIFR Nationwide entrance examination (GS – 2016) scheduled on December 13 (Sunday), 2015 at Department of Chemistry, University of Kashmir, Srinagar as one of the sub-centres. In lieu of this, apart from all the candidates who have already been granted online registration for appearing in the test, the other candidates who desire to appear in the said test can also appear as walk-in candidates on the said date and their registration will be made on- spot against the payment of Rs. 800/- and Rs. 200/- in cash for Male and Female students respectively.

For the information of both the categories of examinees (registered/walk-in), the examination on the said date will be held as per the following schedule:

9:30 am – 12:30 pm	Physics, Chemistry Computer Science, M.Sc. Wild Life
	Biology and conservation
2:30 pm – 4:30 pm	Mathematics and Biology

The examinees are directed to take their allotted seats in the examination hall, half an hour before the commencement of examination i.e.; 9:00 am in the morning session and 2:00 pm in the evening session. The standard scientific calculators (which should not plot graphs) are allowed for Physics, Chemistry and Biology papers only. Further, no calculators, electronic gadgets are allowed at all for Mathematics and Computer Science.

For any further information, the students can contact the undersigned during working days from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
