Srinagar: University of Kashmir (KU) has decided to conduct the BG 3rd year exams in December this year, much to the relief of the students.
The development came after the students had contested the KU decision to hold the examination in November after it advertised the notification for submission of exam forms from November 14 to 19.
The students had urged the varsity authorities to delay the exams saying their syllabus was not completed as the session was reduced to five months only.
Controller Examination KU, Abdul Salam Bhat said they have already received a representation from the students and their exams would be conducted in December.
“Their exams will be held in December only. We are just completing the formalities and have considered their demand,” Bhat said as reported by Greater Kashmir.
