Srinagar: On-Line Application forms are invited from the desirous candidates for admission to B.Ed. programme, session 2015-16 in Private B.Ed. Colleges of Kashmir Division. The candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree with 45% (General) and 40% (Category) marks in any discipline from the University of Kashmir or any other recognized University as holds equivalence thereto by the University of Kashmir. The Graduate teachers under 10+2+2 scheme with minimum two years teaching experience in Government/Government-recognized private schools are also eligible to apply for the above admission.

B. Ed. Programme
I) Important dates
-Availability of Online Forms from July 04, 2015
-Last date of submission of On-line Application Forms is August 02, 2015
-Processing of application forms and issuance of admission list of selected candidates provided documents are in order, should be 20 days
-Start of Class Work in September 01, 2015
-Academic Session would be September 01, 2015 upto September, 2016

II)  Submission of On-Line Application Forms
The candidates are advised to follow the following steps for filling their On-Line Application Forms:
Step-1: Visit http://www.kashmiruniversity.net and click on link Admissions 2015 and then B. Ed. Application Form for Private Colleges.
Step-2:  Enter your personal and academic details carefully.
Step-3: Upload your latest passport size photograph with specimen signature at the bottom of the photograph and select your desired college preference.
Step-4: Before clicking submit button make sure you entered the correct information. Get a printout of the Form and note the ID for future reference
Step-5: Deposit the Fee of Rs. 750 per course (plus Rs. 10/- Bank charges) against the Pay-in-Slip generated with the Application Form in any of the branches of the J&K Bank Ltd. across the country.

III) Submission of downloaded Application Forms (Hard copy)
The candidates after submitting their On-Line Application Forms must submit the downloaded Form (hard copy) along with the following documents in the office of Dean, College Development Council latest by 03rd August 2015 and obtain a receipt for record:
i) Marks Certificate of the examinations passed.
ii) State Subject Certificate.
iii) University Copy of the fee receipt obtained from the bank.
iv) Reserved Category Certificate (if claiming admission under Reserved Category) issued by the competent authority vide latest SRO.
v) NOC from the employer, in case employed in Government or any other Department/Institution.

IV) Additional information
a) The candidates must check the status of their application after three days. In case, acceptance of form is not uploaded, the candidate should contact the concerned J&K Bank, Branch and Dean College Development Council office immediately.
b) Application form incomplete, in any respect, shall not be processed for admission;
c) University shall not be responsible for any postal delay and forms received after the last date/s shall, in no case, be entertained for admission;
d) The admission so granted shall be subject to the physical verification of the candidates in the Colleges through special/surprise/periodical inspections;
e) The academic session shall be treated operative from September 01, 2015 only;
f) No Private College of Education affiliated/to be affiliated with Kashmir University is/shall be competent to make admissions on its own or on behalf of the University of Kashmir and shall not be competent to transfer the candidates from one college to another;
g) Candidate shall be admitted only in the  College affiliated with the University of Kashmir;
h) The duration of the B.Ed course for the current session shall remain the same as was in the session 2014. However, it may be introduced as two years programme from the next session;
i) In their own interests, the candidate are advised to stay in touch with the office of the DCDC (Off-Phone: 0194-227 2013/2014) and the University website for any information regarding admission.
