Eligibility Criteria: The applicant should have a Masters degree in the relevant subject with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC).
Admission Procedure: Prospective candidates should apply online using the "Online Application Facility" by visiting the website at http://www.cup.ac.in. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a entrance test and interview at CUP Bathinda.
1.The candidates who have qualified National Eligibility Tests with fellowships such as CSIR-UGC-JRF/ICMR-JRF/DBT-JRF/GPAT are exempted from test.
2.DST-INSPIRE fellowship holders will be given preference in admission, however they will have to appear in the entrance test.
3.Candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET for lectureship only, will also be given preference in admission, however they will have to compete for university fellowships, which are limited in number.
Schedule of Entrance Test/Interview: The Entrance test will be held on July 27, 2015 at 09:00 am in Central University of Punjab, City Campus, Mansa Road Bathinda. The candidates who qualify in the test will have to appear in the interview on the same day.
Last date: The online application facility will remain open till 12.00 noon, July 20, 2015. For further details about the program and research areas, please visit university website.
Application Fee: The application fee is Rs. 600 (for SC/ST Rs. 300). The demand draft for fee should be in the favor of “Central University of Punjab Bathinda” payable at Bathinda. Candidates are required to fill the detail of demand draft in online application form before last date i.e. 20-07-2015 and submit the DD in university on the day of the test.
