New Delhi: Even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan', Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday started a separate cleanliness drive in Delhi.
The former Delhi chief minister was early this morning seen cleaning the streets near the Prime Minister's residence at Race Course road.
He then travelled to BR camp along with his party MLAs and joined the safai karamcharis in a cleanliness drive.
Kejriwal was there seen cleaning a drain.
The AAP has urged Delhiites to come forward and be a part of the drive. The party also intends to discuss problems faced by cleaning staff.
Earlier, Kejriwal wished Gandhi Jayanti to all and also paid homage to the former PM of India Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Lal Bahadur Shastri's birth anniversary today. He practised value based politics. Today, when politics has become so dirty, he shows the way
