Jammu: The daughter of Jammu and Kashmir director general of police was on Thursday arrested here after the death of a retired government servant in a road accident allegedly involving a car driven by her.
Last morning, a car hit Inderjeet Padha, a retired employee of the health department, critically injuring him, a senior police officer said, adding that he was rushed to Government Medical College (GMC) where doctors declared him brought dead.
Later, an FIR was registered at Pacca Danga police station and the daughter of Jammu and Kashmir DGP K Rajendra Kumar was booked and arrested.
