New Delhi: Huawei has silently made available a quad core tablet, called Mediapad 7 Youth 2, in India. It is currently available online from various e-retailer - while Flipkart is selling it for Rs 11,499, Infibeam is selling it for Rs 10,999.
As per the listing, the tablet features a 7 inch display with 1024x600 pixels density and 5 point touch support. This tablet has Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system with the Huawei Emotion 1.6 user interface. The Youth 2 has 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon processor and 1 GB RAM - this combination expected to give a lag-free operation.
The tablet however has only 4 GB ROM and the regular 32 GB expandable storage slot. It has a 3 megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera - both are of fixed focus in nature. Besides, it comes with a 4100 mAh battery. It also come with SIM connectivity for voice and 3G connectivity. Besides, it has GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
Looking at the specification, it seems that the Huawei Mediapad 7 Youth 2 has a hard time in its front considering new entrants like the Flipkart Digiflip Pro, Dell Venue 7, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Neo etc.
