Jammu: Government today extended winter vacation in Kashmir and winter zone of Jammu region till March 11.
Official sources said that the school education department reviewed the situation due to the prevailing cold condition across Kashmir Valley and winter zone of Jammu region.
“Due to the severe weather conditions it was decided to extend the vacations till March 11”, they said adding that the schools will now open on March 12. Earlier government had extended the vacations till March 3.
