Srinagar: All the Kashmir University examinations scheduled to be held on 19 January, 2013, Saturday, are postponed, PRO Showkat Shafi told ANN over phone.
The decision has been taken in view of the inclement weather and heavy snowfall witnessed in the valley. The official, however, said that the fresh dates for the conduct of these postponed papers will be notified seperately. Kindly note that KU also had to postpone examinations that were scheduled to be held today i.e 18 January, 2013, Friday.
Weather is forecasted to improve from Saturday, must to the respite of the valley people who face the hardship of being stuck in homes due to the snowfall.
