Srinagar: While Kashmir University defended its decision of holding examination for professional courses of 3rd year in November, the students on Thursday threatened to take to streets if their examination were not deferred.
The students of BCA - 3rd year said that the decision of holding examination in November is unjust as “earlier examination for these courses were conducted in December. We appeal vice-chancellor of Kashmir University to intervene in the matter forthwith to save our career,” they appealed.
However, Controller Examinations, KU, Prof A S Bhat said: “We have taken principals on board over conduct of examination and they did not raise any objection when we decided to conduct examination in November.” -GKNN
