Rawalpindi, Dec 6: Danish Foreign Minister Villy Sovndal has said that Pakistan is an important country for Denmark and it will make all-out possible efforts to secure better future for Pakistan.
The solution to Kashmir dispute is also equally important for Denmark, Villy Sovndal said in an interview with daily Nawa-i-Waqtat in his office at Copenhagen.
To a question, he said that Danish force, which is part of the Nato, would return back to Denmark till 2014. The war in Afghanistan could not be won through force, he said and added that he was happy with new strategy. According to new strategy, he said, Afghans would itself maintain peace in their country.
To a question, he said that continuation of democratic system in Pakistan was very important. Lauding the democratic system in Pakistan, he said because of this reason they consider Pakistan in five of the most favorite countries.
Demark provided help to Pakistan during last year floods, he said. He added that they were aware of the fact that terrorist activities had claimed thousands of lives in Pakistan.
To a question, he said that Pakistani press was playing an important role.
