Driver missing as truck plunges into Tawi River along Jammu-Poonch highway
POONCH — A truck drowned in river Tawi along Jammu-Poonch national highway following which a rescue operation has been launched.
An official said that during the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, a truck rolled down and drowned in Manawar Tawi River on the Jammu-Poonch highway in Dhallian area of Nowshera sector.
He said that the whereabouts of the driver and conductor could not be ascertained while the Police, CRPF and Army started a rescue operation.
