Srinagar: Police on Thursday detained Hurriyat (M) leader Bilal Gani Lone, near Shoor in Putkhai area when he was on way to Handwara.
Hurriyat (M) spokesman advocate Shahid ul Islam Said that Lone had to go to express solidarity with the bereaved families of the civilians killed in forces actions during last two days.
He said that Bilal was taken into custody along with his associates including Ghulam Nabi Najar, Muzaffar Mir and others.
